Birthday gifts and our princess

When we were in Minneapolis Gretchen's cousin Jade gave her the coolest things. First, she gave her a box of princess dress up clothes!! G LOVES it!! AND she gave her a scooter!!! What a sweet cousin!! She can't wait to get out side to try it out. She wanted to yesterday but it was a little too cool out!

She got these super cute sandals from the Kramers(they live in Minot but sent her gift with Grandma and Grandpa Henry, they came to MN for Jade's first communion too!!)

Mini Vacation, Early Birthday, and Fun with Family

We went to Minneapolis this past weekend. I had to attend some continueing education classes and Jason and the girls were able to spend time with his family that lives there. We stayed in Stillwater with his sister. Our niece Jade also made her first communion, so it was a very special weekend. We also decided to celebrate Enna's birthday a few days early! She didn't destroy the cake to bad. Gretchen had sooooo much fun playing with Jade. Thanks Jade for being such a great big cousin!! We were also able to visit our good friends Jaime and Paul and their sweet boys Carson and Ashton. And we spent Friday evening at Jason's high school friend Brian Volk's with his wife Angie and their children Keegan and Kyra. A few other friends from high school also joined us. It is always nice to see people we don't get to see very often. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures with our friends!!

We haven't been up to much here in SD, other than having a blizzard every few days the past couple of weeks. I have missed three days of work! Not really too upset about that, except it does hurt the paycheck a little bit!! The girls are still as busy as ever and keeping us thoroughly entertained and testing our patience nonstop!! We can't believe Enna will be one in a few weeks. Where did the year go?!!! We are going to Minneapolis in a couple of weeks. I have to attend some classes and Jason and the girls get a mini vacation!! Hope all is well with everyone! Have a great weekend.

Gretchen is not a big fan of letting me do her hair lately. But when she lets me put in pigtails they are getting quite long. Pretty cute, if I must say so myself. Usually she looks like Harry from "Dumb and Dumber!"
